This information is very IMPORTANT so I reposted it so that it would have it's own link. Make sure you download these drivers the night before and install so that your not scrambling to uninstall on launch day if they mess up. Below I have added some things that might help you during launch day to be prepared. If your headed into battle whether it's online or in real life, you should always do a full check of all equipment at your disposal. I will add more items to the list as I think of them. Prep your gaming area:
- Get a minifridge
- stock up on monsters
- buy a carton of cigs
- if you smoke weed then you know what todo there
- clean every part of your computer of dust
- enable overclocking
- do a disk fragmentation
- clear your internet browser cache (origin calls functions through IE, Chrome, Firefox)
- uninstall any previous versions of Battlefield 3
- (Windows 7) Start>Run>Type 'msconfig'>Startup Services> disable any apps that you don't use.
- Don't play online using a wireless connection.
- Just remember alot of pro gamers use low resolutions on a wired local area network so that framerates and latency won't hinder their skill. If your Kill/Death ratio is horrible (under 1.0) then you should think about dropping those pretty graphics down abit. If you have the rig to max it then props to you, but alot of us can't afford a new rig everytime a game comes out. I won't be getting a new gaming rig until Janurary.
New Graphics Drivers
NVIDIA has stated they will release new drivers a day before Battlefield 3 launches. AMD has already released a Catalyst Application Profile with Battlefield 3 support.

FYI. New drivers will be released the day before Battlefield 3 launches. Make sure to grab them especially if you will be purchasing Battlefield 3 as there are numerous bug fixes and better performance as well.
For those who have modded the latest Quadro driver (http://www.nvidia.com/object/quadro-tesla-win7-winvista-64bit- 285.58-whql-driver.html) it is very close to the final driver but is missing a few Battlefield 3 fixes so if you do download and mod them, make sure to update to the newest Geforce drivers next week. The Quadro driver does contain the fix we've added to address the TDR issue.

Battlefield 3: Provides great CrossFire scaling and reduces flickering / corruption issues when running in CrossFire mode.
I heard alot of beef about Origin and the new Battlelog system. I did'nt have any problems with it and loved how I could still surf the internet while the map was loading. Alot of people did have alot of things to say about it, but the fact is Origin has a solid fanbase of about 5 Million right now. Could it be the next Steam? That's not likely for another few years. We've already seen some heavy hitting games in Origin though and being backed up by EA one of the biggest video game producers in the world is definately a plus.
Electronic Arts has revealed that its Origin digital game distribution service currently sees over five million users on a daily basis.
Speaking to the Sydney Morning Herald, EA COO and industry veteran Peter Moore explained that, despite launching only four months ago, the service has seen respectable user numbers.
"Like any piece of software, and I worked at Microsoft for enough years to say this, you launch software and continue to polish it, upgrade it, get feedback and make it better," he explained.
"That's where we are with Origin. We're only four and a half months in and already over five million people are using it on a daily basis."
The company said last month that Origin had seen a total of four million installs of the client.
EA CFO Eric Brown also revealed that third-party content will be available via Origin "very soon." The service currently only supplies EA-published games.
